SQL 2014 Issues

I have setup SQL 2014 for my DB server, however the pre-requisite check is failing. When I checked the compatibility on TECHNET, 2014 is listed as supported for SCCM 2012 R2. Can someone let me know if there is a patch that's  needed.

Thanks in advance

ConfigMgr 2012 R2 are supported with SQL 2014.
Just use the 3020755 hotfix.

I think its because you cant install directly with SQL 2014 Database. Please see the following link, it specifies that "you must upgrade the instance of SQL Server that hosts an existing site database to SQL Server 2014." to use with SCCM 2012 R2. Please try using SQL 2012 or install SQL 2012 and upgrade to 2014 post SCCM configuration.

That is not the case anymore. It's now supported to do a fresh install on a new SQL 2014.
But WSUS is still not supported on
