SQL2008R2 sp1 with CU4 ConfigMgr2007 install error.
I am installing ConfigMgr2007 with SQL2008R2 sp1 with CU4 and am hitting the below error. Using a domain admin account to run SQL and SCCM. The databases gets built but right at the end I get an error about table creation. <06-02-2012 14:19:30> FileOpen for \\CONFIGMGR\ABC_AI$\LU_Category.csv failed, GetLastError() returns 64. Error code 64 = "The specified network name is no longer available." This looks to be a connectivity/name resolution issue. Note that running as a domain admin account is meaningless. Using a domain admin account does not imply the correct permissions to install ConfigMgr and has no bearing on anything ConfigMgr does. The account requirements fo ConfigMgr are that the account you are running setup as must be a local admin on the site server and SQL Server and must be a SQL sysadm. Also, the site server's computer account must be a local admin on the SQL Server (if it is remote).Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com | Twitter @JasonSandys
