when I select a document in document library, button "Edit properties" is enabled. When I deselect same document, button is disabled. Which method is called every time I select/deselect document that enables/disables button?

thanks for your answer, but that is not what I was looking for. I know that I can disable/enable button with javascript, but I need to do it when an item is selected/deselected in document library. I need to know what event is called by SharePoint in that case
