Hi Toddg2, Please try the steps below to see if it will work: 1. Go to 12 hive to delete the upgrade.log file 2. Clear cache.ini file by following the steps in this article 3. Restart the timer job on the server 4. Run this command line: psconfig - cmd upgrade -inplace b2b force If this problem still failed, collect the upgrade log and the ULS log mentioning in upgrade log such as this one: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS\PSCDiagnostics_11_2_2009_14_14_7_187_938108432.log At the same time, check the event viewer to find the error message. Hi Lu, thanks for your reply. I had to open a support ticket and work through this one. As a part of troubleshooting we diddelete the upgrade.log and cleared the cache.ini but ultiumatly we had to remove the SSP and recreate it again. Again, thanks for your reply !!
