SPS 2003 - User Profile Import no longer working
Hi all, I'm having a bit of a problem with our Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 box. It has a schedule to perform imports for user profiles (full on Sunday mornings, incrementals at 11pm every day). However I've noticed that the import hasn't run at all since 10th March according to the logs. Over the weekend, I tried manually initiating an import, but it just seems to stick on a status of "Importing (3)" with no profiles actually being imported and nothing listed in the Import Log. Is there some way of resolving this? The server is running SPS 2003, SQL Server 2005 on a Windows 2003 SP1 standard edition system. Thanks.

> According to Microsoft Support Lifecycle, SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Mainstream Support retired at 4/14/2009 While this is true, it only means that *official* (Mainstream) support has ended. It does NOT mean that people can not ask questions of their peers in the SharePoint pre-2010 forums and receive answers to their questions from peers. It would perhaps be better either not to post such (potentially confusing) replies here or, if you do, in my opinion you should make it 100% clear that your text only applies to **official** Microsoft support and that the poster can also wait for other forum members to reply.
