SP2 upgrade process? Agent update? WSUS update?
I see SP2 for SCCM looks like it was made available around 10/22.What are the steps to upgraded the SCCM Server & Clients?- Install SP2 on the SCCM Server- Do the Client agents need to be updated? (and if so what is the best way to "push" this out)?- Does the underlying WSUS server need an update for SP2?THANKS In advance. Didn't find any instructions on the "update" steps, so if there are some published somewhere can you send me a link?THANKS

You need WSUS SP2 if you want to patch Win7/Server 2008 R2.

Thanks. Is WSUS SP2 included in SCCM SP2, or is it a seperate Download?Steps look like:1). WSUS SP2 (I'm showing version: 3.1.6001.65 for WSUS so guess I need SP2).2). SCCM SP23). Update clients to SP2 agentWhat limitation will the clients have if the SCCM Server is updated to SP2 and the client agent is not updated (during that transition time)?THANKS Again.

WSUS SP2 is not included in ConfigMgr SP2 (because it's a different product). There are no limitations that I am aware ofif the clients are not upgraded (except for Win7 and Server 2008 R2).

Thanks Kent... so the following error appears when running SPLASH.HTA:"An error has occurred in the script on this page" Line: 46Char: 5Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrectCode: 0URL: file: //c:/SCCM-SP2/CONFIGMGR07SP1UPGRADE_RTM_ENU/SPLASH.HTADo you want to continue running scripts on this page (YES or NO).. I indicate YES and all that appears is the SCCM splash screen (and never goes away).. NO UPDATE, NO OPTION, etc. This Server is running IE8.

Ignore that.. problem was the file association was incorrect (pointing at IE for some reason). problem seems to be corrected by running the HTA with MSHTA.EXE (as it should be).THANKS
