SP2 prereq checker - Warnings on DMZ management point

When I run the SP2 installer prerequisite checker, I get a bunch of warnings about my DMZ based Management Point.  I'm assuming these are normal since we limit communication between internal and external.  On a whim, I did a net use \\dmzmpname /user:DMZDOMAIN\SCCMAccount to connect to the DMZ MP from the internal MP, but got these same warnings.  Just want to make sure this isn't going to cause the SP2 install to fail.

You are running it from somewhere where network connection aren't all open to the MP so it's having trouble validating. If you are looking inside SCCM and everything is good you should not have any issue.

You can look at the ConfigMgrPrereq.log file on the system drive of computer to get  more information about these warning.

I never tried this before but i think you could just take the prereqchk.exe and run it from the MP in the DMZ. you could do command line validation like this Prereqchk.exe /noui /MP or you could use the gui if you like by just starting the Prereqchk.exe.

Permissions are also probably preventing the pre-req checker from working since the system is in the DMZ and the pre-req checker runs with the permissions of the user running it.

You should run the pre-req checker manually from the system in the DP.
