SMS Site Control Manager will ignore this site configuration change request
My Primary Site is trying to send old CT0 files to one of my 28 secondary sites. I am getting tons of informational messages (about 50+ an hour)at the Secondary Site concerning these attempts. (I have not done a site reset.) We are in the process of migrating Secondary Sites from 2003 to 2008 servers. I had one other site that trying to updatedusing an old delta(but only one). I wanted to test to see if the site would update the site control file, so Imade a change on the site and the old delta is no longer trying to process.I repeated that process on the Site that is still having the problem. It does update the CT0 file, but the old deltas are still trying to process. This site is trying to process serial # 24 through#48. The last entry that shows the actual control file is # 48:SMS Site Control Manager created serial number 48 of the actual site control file Location\inboxes\sitectrl.box\sitectrl.ct0.A copy is sent to the Secondary site and the file is updated with the correct date and time. I have looked at the HM on thePrimary site and can see it sents the correct versionSMS Hierarchy Manager successfully processed "Location\inboxes\hman.box\1I2TMCM9.CT2", which represented serial number 48 of the site control file for site "Secondary Site" (SiteCode).Immediately following the correct version being sent. I get 2807 and 2809 for SN#s 24 -48. I have looked at the sitectrl.log on the secondary siteand I don't see anything but what I am seeing the status messages. Before I reinstall the Secondary Site, I was hoping there may be a way to locate and delete the deltas. I have searched both systems. Are these requests that I can remove? Or is there a way to force a change on the Secondary Site? I do not see a Message ID of 2813 and 2815 at this Secondary Site:SMS Site Control Manager added a "Property List" item named "Reset SMS_COMPONENT_STATUS_SUMMARIZER:1257440723" to the actual site control file Location\inboxes\sitectrl.box\sitectrl.ct0.This addition occurred as a result of a site configuration change request in delta site control file Location\inboxes\sitectrl.box\incoming\w1924d10.CT1. The change will take effect in serial number (SN#) of the actual site control file.and SMS Site Control Manager deleted the "Property List" item named "Reset SMS_COMPONENT_STATUS_SUMMARIZER:1257440723" from the actual site control file Location\inboxes\sitectrl.box\sitectrl.ct0. This deletion occurred as a result of a site configuration change request contained in delta site control file Location\inboxes\sitectrl.box\incoming\s80mo32c.CT1. The change will take effect in serial number (#) of the actual site control file.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
