SMS_Site Component _ Manager

Hello Everyone,

I have this question . I checked SMS _SITE _ Component manager in SCCM 2007 and 2012 . Both the hierarchies  Same Component type " Components not installed by site components manager " . I have checked both hierarchies and everything is working great no issues .

So just wanted to confirm is it the type name of the components  " SMS _SITE _ Component manager' or something else.

I have been researching about it for a while and book says it is the type name .

Just wanted to know what SCCM gurus think about it ?
