I am constantly receiving SMS_SOFTWARE_METERING_PROCESSOR error on my primary site when i view the site status node, and the error keeps on growing.... But im not quite sure what is causing the problem. There is a quite number of error msg, but
i will display only the common ones. Below is the error msg:
1) SMS Software Metering Processor moved file C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\swmproc.box\process\0wfon1o9.MUV to the corrupt directory. The file will be deleted when the minimum clean up age has been reached. See the previous and following error messages for more details.
2) SMS Software metering Processor failed to process the usage file 0wfon1o9.MUV for client ABYBSJUE11989PQUI because a record contained a bad usage start or end time value. Usage times are rejected if the start time is greater than the end time, the end time is in the future or more than 90 old days. Possible cause: the clock on the client machine is not accurate or recently has been changed. Solution: Reset the time on the client computer to the current time. Problem: The time on the site server is incorrect. Solution, reset the time on the SMS Site server to the current time.
Anyone has encountered this before? What could be the issue? Has it got something to do with the software inventory client agent?
