In my SCCM console i see the below errors in systems status in SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER. Please guide MP Control Manager detected DMP is not responding to HTTP requests. The http status code and text is 404, Not Found. My primary SCCM server is SCCM 2007 R2 SP2 & it is installed on Windows Server 2003.

Are you using mobile device management? mp control manager tells you that the DMP (device management point) is not working. You could uninstall that role if it's not needed. Otherwise deinstall and reinstall the DMP role.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

We are not using the DMP. We have removed the check in MP which says Allow devices to use this as MP but still we are still getting the errors. Can someone please suggest

Hi Amit You can check your MP through, http://<management point name>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist If you see a blank screen instead of an error message, the request is successful. Next, on the Start menu, click Run and type: http://<management point name>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert If the request is successful, you will see a long list of numbers and letters. Finally, run the MPGetPolicy tool from the SMS Toolkit1, available on the Microsoft Download site. If all of these tests fail, verify that your management point has been installed correctly. Thanks

I can see the outputs on below links which suggest MP is working fine but those error message still exist http://<management point name>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist http://<management point name>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert
