Hello All - I"m somewhat new to SCCM, but have leaned fast on many of it's uses. My setup consists of an SCCM server and 1-2 distribution points on my 3 remote sites. Up until a few days ago, everything was working fine. I was deploying Software Packages to remote computers using my distribution points - however - recently, I cannot. I've tried numerous software packages as well as OSD images, but NOTHING syncs over to ANY Dist Point. When checking the log, I see that it gets the error in my title. It suggests a few possible issues which you are probably familier with including permissions and low on disk space. Well, my disk space (on Source & Dist Points) is fine and permissions look good as I've even tried to get both my SCCM service account and thfe SCCM hostname full access to all places that I can think of. I also tried creating a new dist point, but it never created the shares that it is supposed to. The only cause that I can think of is that a few days ago, I found that under Site Man / Site Code / Accounts, I had both my SCCM service account and mydomain admin account. Since my domain admin acct didn't seem to have any roles assigned to it, I removed it. I don't recall the errors starting immediatly then, but they may have since I didn't notice it was as wide spread for a couple of days. Below is part of my distmgr.log. Hi Ben, It seems that the package cannot be process to the Distribute point and was there on the site. First, please go to disable the Antivirus services on the site server. After that, you may take the following steps to completely remove the DP from the package and rebuilt it again. a. Please try to delete registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Components\SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER\Retry History\ (the package ID) Note: Before modify the registry keys, please take a backup of the key. b. delete the following package instances from: \inboxes\pkginfo.box\(the package ID).ICO \inboxes\pkginfo.box\(the package ID).NAL \inboxes\pkginfo.box\(the package ID).PKG c. remove the records referencing the package id from the following tables if possible: PkgAccess PkgNotification PkgPrograms PkgServers PkgStatus SMSPackages Then, please re-add the DP to the package and retry to distribute the package again.
