SMS_Distribution_Manager 2302 and 2307 Error comes up after Deleting old software packages
After deleting old software packages in SCCM 2007, I'm getting a lot SMS_DISTRIBUTION Manager Error 2302 SMS Distribution Manager failed to process package and then followed by SMS_DISTRIBUTION_Manager 2307, SMS Distribution Manager failed to access
the source Directory"C:\sccm apps install\apps" for package "package name" The operating system reported error 5: Access is denied.

I deleted it from the Package Status.

What do you mean? Package status is not an area to delete packages from. You have to remove adv then go to package_name/Distribution points and remove DP(s) [you can monitor distmgr.log] and finally remove the package.
