Just a simple query...If on a secondary site, i cannot find this folder SMS_CCM , instead i can see all my logfiles under C:\Windows\System32\CCM\Logs . Hi JohnWhen you say "remove the MP" it is the Right-Click "Delete" within System Center Configuration Manager > Site Database > Site Management > Site Code > Site Systems > Management Point Server > ConfigMgr Management Point? Also we need to check:- mpMSI.log- MPSetup.log- Task Manager all should have sent a completion statement... am I correct - Removing MP Registry in MPSetup.log- === Verbose logging stopped 3/4/2010 12:19:01 === in mpMSI.log- No more msiexec.exe running (it could take up to 15 minutes after the logs said their completion!!!"make sure system32\ccm is gone" it is not gone I delete it MANUALLY ...!!!Or do you have another way to do it?I will try it again as I don't have C:\Program Files\SMS_CCM and C:\Windows\System32\CCM\SMS_MP empty!!It is anyway different folder tree but also different folder names isn't it? SMS_CCM on option1 and SMS_MP on option2 !!!Thanks,Dom System Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 Support
