Is there any settings that allows the logging to start again?
After WDS re-install (uncheck PXE/Multicast on the DP properties) I no longer have any logs for PXE

Is your PXE working fine?
What's path of the Smspxe.log you checked?
On a DP the SMSPXE.LOG is located in Localdrive:\SMS_DP$\SMS\LOGS
On a site server the SMSPXE.LOG is located in Localdrive:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs
Localdrive:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs
contains log which DOES NOT get updated, since before I reconfigured WDS.
And if I delete it, it does NOT get re-created.
PXE is working (I can boot off it, can see entries in WDS eventlog)
Is there any registry entry that specifies login option?

To make things even stranger, it decided to just start loggin just fine today (with no changes to the system over the weekend). So it is OK again
