SMSPKG folders filling up more partitions than desired.
Hello, I recently discovered that apparantly ConfigMgr places packages on whatever local drive has the most available space at the time of creation. It is quickly filling drives I do not want to have data on. I found out that you can place the NO_SMS_ON_DRIVE.SMS file on the root of any drive you don't want to this to happen on, but how can I remove packages and directores for them already created? Thanks in advance for any help! Stephen

Hi, Have a look at following threads: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/configmgrbackup/thread/c1089468-3014-4446-86f2-8118d3e14248 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrsetup/thread/58cfdd8d-afa0-49ab-ac53-7a2f5bbb217b Also, I think in the blog An00p pasted, when SMSPKGX$ folder ceated in a partition other than c this folder should be SMSPKGD$ like. So, should we recreate a new folder SMSPKGD$ in the partition D then copy the contents to it? Thanks
