SLD does not refresh - SLO no more available
Hello, The dashboard is still showing machines which have been removed from the SCOM Console? It seems I lost some connectivity or connection as also I could display anymore the SLO available when clicking "Edit Page" I tried the service account and my admin account which were used during installtion and which were working until yesterday... Now when clicking "Edit Page" I see the current dashboard and the "Add a web part" but no more the SLO with their check boxes... Any idea what is going on? Thanks, Dom System Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 / Forefront Client Security / Forefront Identity Manager

Finally the machine removed disappear from the dashboard but still no access to the SLOs... through the "Edit Page" nothing is listed... Any log(s) to review to see for disconnection, access failures, even as it was working for a week without touching it yesterday we needed to refresh the screen to see if the machines removed from SCOM were gone also ... No but today yes ... stange behavior... Also how is the refresh time between the SCOM information and the dashboard when it is working? I saw a dashboard.log file in the folder ....C:\ProgramData\Service Level Dashboard 2.0\Logs and the error --------------------------------- 3/30/2011 4:58:53 PM Message :Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Source :Void Timer1_Tick(System.Object, System.EventArgs) Stack : at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceLevelDashboard.MasterContainer.Timer1_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) --------------------------------- I did IISRESET already several(s) times ... Hello, For the first link, I have no error on the dashboard itself... only in the dashboard.log file I have the message --------------------------------- 3/30/2011 4:58:53 PM Message :Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Source :Void Timer1_Tick(System.Object, System.EventArgs) Stack : at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceLevelDashboard.MasterContainer.Timer1_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) --------------------------------- Then... I followed the steps Jonathan Almquist "Configuring the User Mappings for the WSS Content Pool service account (aka, IIS application pool identity). This account needs the SLDReader role on the Data Warehouse database" Yes it is already in and set well Raghu Kethineni - TS & TIPS 1. "Operations 2007 reporting is upgraded to R2" Yes for a while 2. "Service Level Tacking Summary Report" Yes there are data 3. "Service Level Dashboard 2.0 Management Pack" Yes the MP is in 4. "Install SLD by Run As Administrator" it just give me the option to remove SLD Should I proceed ... again? I will give a try again but is it is the only to correct issue it is crushing a fly with a hammer What does exactly this shows? I saw other thread for not existent data but the report summary has data in my case. For Part1 and Part2 from Jonathan works already several time (2 at least) for a week buit after I have to do it again this does not make too much sense to have to reinstall SLD at least or WSS each time there is a failure. It seems heavy as the issue is appearing on a weekkly basis so far??? But reviewing the steps proposed I noticed another errors in the Operations Manager log: GetServerNames.vbs : Script Data Error: Invalid root in registry key "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\12.0\WSS\Services\Microsoft.Office.Server.Conversions.LauncherService\ServiceName". Nothing in the dashboard.log even it is still dated 3/30/2011 4:58 p.m.... but we are the 4/4/2011... 3:30 p.m. Thanks, Dom System Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 / Forefront Client Security / Forefront Identity Manager

I rebuilt it again and it works last night... Am I supposed to rebuild the SLD each time there is a failure? How often is it supposed to refresh? I have: Dashboard Refresh in Minutes: 30 Dashboard Default View: 24 hours Agreegation Type: Hourly but the values displayed are older than 30 minutes they are for some of them 12 hours late ...? Any other settings implied? Thanks, DomSystem Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 / Forefront Client Security / Forefront Identity Manager

Hello, I am shutdown a server @ 4:34 p.m. it shows up in "Failed to Connect to Computer" & "Health Service Heartbeat Failure" alerts views and dashboard @ 4:37 p.m. but the dashboard remains green @ 4:52 p.m.!!!! which seems to show that the group created with a Dynamic Membership per Operating System does not catch the issue??? I need to add the Health Service Watcher (Agent) .... so it seems to be a loop as I could not split the servers per Management Server having the Health Service Watcher (Agent) available or per Operating System and having also the Health Service Watcher (Agent) available ...
