SCOM alerts are showing different date
The following alerts that we are getting in SCOM are showing different date. Few days back the servers main board was swapped. Verified the OS and HW time. It is OK.The issue is only with these four services. I had reinstalled the agnet and still the issue persists. The Windows service for the SQL Server Agent for instance MSSQLSERVER has stopped on computer xxxxxxxxxsms01.xx.xxxx.xx.net Created: 12/13/7810 7:26:54 AM Dell.Connections.DSMSharedServicesMonitor Created: 12/13/7810 7:26:54 AM xxxxxxxxxxsms01.xx.xxxx.xx.net - Symantec AntiVirus Service is not running. I think the alert gets the creation time from the agent so you should check that the time and date on the agents are correct.mats.w | www.opsmode.com

I Just checked the system time, it is OK. The issue is with these alerts only . If i close it, it will reappear with in minutes and these are bogus alerts. Below are the other two alerts with different time 1. xxxxxxxxxxsms01.xx.xxxx.xx.net - SMS 2003 Perf Threshold: Site Server DDR Backlog > 10,000 over 3 hours. Created: 12/23/2010 12:39:58 AM See the above alert it is showing correct time. I manually stopped the System Center Managemnt service and i have got the Health Service Heartbeat Failure alert with correct time. Hi, if the server was down, and you have rules looking at events, it might be a big backlog the agent is working with. So you get alerts based on events in the paste.Anders Bengtsson | Microsoft PFE | blog at http://www.contoso.se

Issue still there. Still we are getting the alerts with a different time, say 05/01/7810. looking very strange!!!
