Hi all, I think this is a really simple problem but my brain has melted. I've got the Web Console installed on an RMS server. SCOM 2007 R2 with CU4. Windows 2008 R2, IIS 7. SQL 2008 R2 is on a different box. When I go to the url http://localhost:51908 (locally on the RMS) it works fine. If I go to http://myscomserver:51908 (locally on the RMS) it asks me for credentials (which I enter 3 times) before it gives me a HTTP Error 401.1 Unauthorised "You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you specified." However I am a SCOM administrator, a local admin of the box etc. I get the same permission denied when I try to access the Web Console remotely from a different server/client. The Web Console has been configured for Windows authentication. I know I'm probably missing something quite simple. I've gone through several "how to" guides I've found, installed and reinstalled IIS and it's components. I just can't get it working for some reason.http://www.dreamension.net

Hi Pete, thank you very much for your reply. I uninstalled the Web Console component, uninstalled all of IIS, rebooted, reinstalled all the requried IIS components, then reinstalled the Web Console and it is now working as expected. Cheers! Noel.http://www.dreamension.net
