SCOM VM Licensing Question
Say I have a single server (2 cpu's) running 10 virtual machines. If I want to deploy a SCOM agent to all 10 VM's do I need a standard ML for each VM or a datacenter ML for the server hosting them?

For SCOM 2012, you license the System Center suite and not the product. Either of your options work though the 1 Datacenter ml is the cheaper option than using standard MLs. There is a good discussion on System Center 2012 licensing here: http://tonymackelworth.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/system-center-2012-licensing-update/ There is discussion on how his is different from SCOM 2007 R2 licensing at the bottom of that link. Best thing to do with licensing is get it in writing from your MSFT account manager as licensing does vary across customers.
