HI All,

We have SCOM 2012 r2 environment with 3 Management servers, soon we will install 2 more Management servers on existing environment, I am planning to install UR6  on 2 newly build Management servers along with SCOM 2012 R2, Please help what is the procedure to do this , should i install ur6 on 2 servers are fine or again i need update Database and Datawarehouse query along with MP

Hi

Just install UR6 on the new Management Servers - you don't need to re-run the SQL scripts or re-import any Management Packs.

A checklist for other items:

- check that the new management servers are added to resource pools you want. E.g. if you notification command channels that rely on scripts then either make sure the new MS aren't in the pool or make sure the scripts exist.

- SharePoint config task file needs to be copied to relevant location.

- Certificates for:

--- Linux ?? Again, depends on resource pool assignment

--- Windows Agents \ Gateways.

It is assume that your SCOM 2012 R2 is at UR6. When you add two additional Management Servers, you need to apply UR6 after successful installtion. There is no need reapply operations Manager DB , data warehouse query and also import MP.
