Yup no worries. You the agent can communicate and it can be of mixed patch level like if you install CU2 or CU3, you can still talk to the infrastructure without all agents being on the same level http://www.systemcentercentral.com/tabid/60/indexId/52251/tag/Forums/Default.aspx#vindex65966 Paul Keely

Hi Nachi There is an upgrade guide on technet: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd362729.aspx Or you can download it as a word document from the collection of OpsMgr documentation: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=19bd0eb5-7ca0-41be-8c0f-2d95fe7ec636&displaylang=en Cheers GrahamView OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

In addition to the other responses, I'll add that it is best to upgrade your SCOM server roles at the same time (do not run different version of MS indefinitely). Although agents can be upgraded in a phased approach if you want. Also, we officially support v+1 and v-1 from an agent/MG perspective. CU and patch level does not impact supportability, from a "mixed environment" perspective (these do not affect version).HTH, Jonathan Almquist - MSFT

Thanks for all supports... Upgrade GATEWAY SERVER, will auto update all the certificate? ( Just need to know whether will affect the certificate and the agent) Cheers, Nachi
