SCOM Product Connector is sending alerts that don't meet criteria
For your first question: Did you check your criteria of the subscription? By default this is set to NEW and CLOSED. If you go to administration > product connectors > connectors > right click your connector > properties > criteria. I don't think there's a delay by default. It's doing common things uncommonly well that brings succes. Yep, as I said the criteria is set to only send NEW. I have unchecked CLOSED. So I'm at a loss as to why it's sending when I close an alert...

I am integrating SCOM with our ITIL, Service-Now. I have a product connector and subscription set up to sent NEW, CRITICAL, HIGH priority alerts from any category. It seemed to be working correctly but I'm noticing that it is also sending alerts when alerts are closed in SCOM. These alerts aren't even of a high priority. So obviously it's ignoring the subscription criteria when I close alerts. How do I fix this? Also, is there a way to set a delay for product connector subscriptions much like I can do for email subscriptions?

Does anyone else use these subscriptions in their environment? Do they work fine without additional filters or criteria defined? Is there a log available somewhere so I can find out WHY its sending closed alerts when i told it to only send NEW alerts?

I don't think there's a delay by default. I'm trying to avoid posting a new thread. Does anyone know if there is a way to create a delay for Product Connector subscriptions? I've tried exporting my Subscriptions MP and editing the XML to add a delay like it's possible to in normal Subscriptions. However this does not work as it will give me an error when I try to reimport the MP.
