Hi
You need to install an agent on every node of the cluster.
Then you need to enable agent-proxy on each Node.
You can Push the Agent to the cluster nodes thrue the scom console

After you push the scom agents to the physical cluster nodes and set agent proxy for those agents (scom console - administration pane - agents. Property of agent. Security tab. Allow this agent to proxy blabla.
)
After that the virtual cluster instances will de discovrred as well.
Recommend you load management packs for :
Windows + clustering + iis + exchange for the right versions of course.
After that perhaps some config steps for exchange mp as discussed in yhe applicable management pack guide.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

dont forget that discovery happens in phases and takes time. to speed it up you can restart the scom agent on the cluster node that holds the cluster resources. shaves off some time. first go through the management pack views in the mps i was talking about
and in that order. in the cluster mp views check that it finds the physical nodes. if you select one you will see a task on the right hand menu that says something like "discover cluster resources" and click that task. speeds it up as well. next check iis
state view. and exchange state views. take it step by step. And allow a half an hour each time for each step.
Good luck!Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

Hi
Is this still an issue? As this is Exchange 2003, did you re-run the configuration wizard?
Cheers

HI DOm, the cluster management pack should have a reference to that. Although setting this proxy mode is needed for much more roles (cluster, ad, isa, tmg, and lots more). Also the cluster maangement pack will have information on how after discovery of
the nodes you can run an additional task (after setting agents to proxy allowed) from the tasks pane when having the cluster node selected in a view in the cluster mp which will discover the resources.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

I need to review the Discovery as for now (12 hours later) I have only the items but still "Not monitored" and still no cluster name showing under Cluster Node State (MP 6.0.6720.0) looking for the documentation as the msi is showing only MPs...
