Hello, I'm working for a hosting company and we are looking into SCOM to monitor our customers servers. However some of these customers have used the same IP range in their networks. Is it possible to get a agent to work in a NAT scenario? To be able to remote install agents on clients is NOT critical. Thanks

Hi Vegas76. That shouldnt be a problem. If its a large customer enviroment you should consider deploying gateway servers in that domain, allowing you to only deploy certificate to the gateway(s) and do agent push installs.mats.w | www.opsmode.com

Thank you for your respons Mats.w Is that the only way? Some kind of NAT is not possible? Because in some scenarios they only have just one client to monitor.

you dont need to NAT your agent, it only needs outgoing trafic on port 5723. So publishing your RMS with NAT and have the agents connect to it across the internet shuldnt be a problem.mats.w | www.opsmode.com
