SCOM Agent IOPS (2007 & 2012)
I hope this question can be answered relatively easy. Can anyone tell me the average IOPS to expect from the SCOM agent (either 2007 or 2012)? I have to assume the amount of MPs installed; rules and monitors enabled will impact the agent performance as well. So to be easy, lets assume this is a new install with the default MPs and no additional customization. Also, can anyone share success stories using SCOM to monitor virtual machines on a single SANS? We are suspecting the SCOM agent is adding an abundance of IOPS in our virtual environment and would like to see if anyone else has experienced this issue. Thanks in advance!
