SCOM 2012 web Console error
When i open the scom 2012 web console, i got below error: Web Console configuration Required The operations Manager web console requires some additional configuration to be fully functional. Without this configuration, many types of views wil not be available. Refresh this page after completing the configuration. What is problem ?

Hi, check that all Requirements of Ops Mgr Web Console are alrady installed , refer at this link it contains the list of all requirements of the web console : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh205990.aspx#BKMK_RBF_WebConsole , also if you can check the Ops Mgr log file if there's an error related to this issue .Oussama Oueslati | System Engineer | vNext Consulting

Hi, can you check the "WebConsole.log" which is located by default for a default installation of Ops Mgr 2012 on Windows 2008 R2 in "c:\users\<UserName>\Appdata\Local\SCOM\Logs" , also if you can restart your server and try to open the webconsole again.Oussama Oueslati | System Engineer | vNext Consulting

Hi Sam_33 and Yoke88- That notice about your web browser needing configuration means that your SilverLight needs to be updated with a special update used by SCOM 2012 web console. Try manually installing the update on the computer where your browser is running. The file is located on the SCOM 2012 web console server here: C:\Program Files\System Center 2012\Operations Manager\WebConsole\WebHost\ClientBin\silverlightclientconfiguration.exe. thank you ,john joyner . when i manually run the file in C:\Program Files\System Center 2012\Operations Manager\WebConsole\WebHost\ClientBin\silverlightclientconfiguration.exe the problem resoleved , but an strange thing was the file version which i download from "Web Console configuration Required" page was different from the one at C:\Program Files\System Center 2012\Operations Manager\WebConsole\WebHost\ClientBin\silverlightclientconfiguration.exe C:\Program Files\System Center 2012\Operations Manager\WebConsole\WebHost\ClientBin\silverlightclientconfiguration.exe file version was 7.0.8560.12 and the one i download from the "web console configuration required " page ,file version was 7.0.8560.2 (it does not works when run it ) yoke88 IMyoke-msn@hotmail.com
