SCOM 2012 monitor WAS
SCOM 2012 could monitor WAS, but where could I find the exact monitoring item?
Could SCOM monitor the following items of WAS?
DB Pool utilization(%)
JDBC Time(MS)
Servlet Request Number
Servlet ResponseTime(MS)
Thread Pool Size

if these came from perfmon counters
DB Pool utilization(%)
JDBC Time(MS)
Servlet Request Number
Servlet ResponseTime(MS)
Thread Pool Size
it would be easy to pull that data into opsmgr, however, I have a feeling this might have come from a different source. could you elaborate more?Scott Moss MVP (Operations Manager) | President - System Center Virtual Users Group | Vice President - Atlanta Southeast Management Users Group (ATL SMUG) Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you!

How do I know if these came from performance counters or not?

Customers used other tool to produce these reports, and they want to know if SCOM could produce these reports as well.
then they can replace the tool with SCOM.

You can do this on the WAS server (windows)
Go to Start -> run type 'perfmon'
go to performance monitor then right click- add counters
Look for objects from WAS in the list.
If the data was pulled from perfmon, then the above counters should also be listed under one of the perfmon WAS objects.

Yes, SCOM 2012 will be able to monitor what you have listed.
Some of what you are looking for will be covered out-of-the-box, whereas for some of other points you will need to create custom monitors using the template wizard. If the data you need is exposed by an MBean, you can monitor it in SCOM 2012.
