SCOM 2012 console crashes when selecting multiple agents in Pending Management
When I select one agent in Pending Management it takes about 1-2 minutes before I am able to select a task such as Reject. If I select 5-10 agents, I never get to choose any tasks and the console will hang and then crash. I am able to reproduce this problem after completely reinstalling SCOM 2012 with new management servers and a new database. This happens when using the console on either the management servers or my workstation. This problem happens even after installing UR1. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? Any fixes other than removing the agents from the DB directly? Thanks.. Jeff

I ran the following PS command and it removed all agents in Pending Management Get-SCOMPendingManagement | Deny-SCOMPendingManagement Still curious if anyone has seen this behavior...

ok, it gets more interesting... when I select a task from the Task Status view, it again takes about 1 min for the console to respond and show me the Task Actions in the right hand pane. The problem really seems to be related to displaying Task Actions when selecting something in the Task Status, Discovered Inventory or Pending Management views. I don't see the problem when selecting something under Agent Management, Alert, Event or State views; the Task Actions appear almost immediately.

Hi all, I'm having the same issue. Currently on UR1 and I'm in the middle of rolling out UR3 ready for SP1 (UR2 or better is required for SP1). Seems that even when I run Get-SCOMPendingManagement | Approve-SCOMPendingManagement it fails with 'operation is not valid due to the current state of the object' Anyone found a solution yet? Cheers, Leigh.
