SCOM 2012 UR1 - Error Event ID 7886 - A read operation on a large object failed while sending data to the client
We have a fresh install of SCOM 2012 UR1 (4 MS and 1 dedicated SQL) running in production and monitoring 108 objects. From day one the console performance is very slow, upon troubleshooting and poking around I found bunch of Event ID 7886 errors showing up on the SCOM SQL server. We occasionally get "NO LOCKs" error messages in the console as well. I know there were similar issues in SCOM 2007 R2 upgrade, that were fixed in CU3 update, I am wondering is anybody else is experiencing this issue/error in their SCOM 2012 UR1 environment? I also like to add that every time this error occurred, we loss our SQL views (i.e.SQL: User Connection) from the SCOM dashboard. So dounds like SCOM is trying to read performance table when it's running into this issue.I also like to mention that we are using a physical sql server, with 4 VMs running as SCOM managment servers MA

I have the same Problem. I have the bad performace since the upgrade to scom 2012. In scom2007R2 all were running fine. In Console there are the lock errors, too! I hoped that some of this become better with UR2...but after running 1 week on UR2 there are the same problems. The Console is sooooo slow and a lot of errors. ANY Idea?? pleas help
