SCOM 2012 Reporting Install
As i was installing the reporting component for scom 2012 i found something strange which i couldn't find any information or blogs online. When I started the install it showed up fine. As i began the screen where we select the roles to install , somehow my Management Server Role Option was grayed out. It is not that i wanted to install management serrver on the SQL host which has SSRS installed but just wanted to share this. Why would it be grayed out?? Although i went ahead and ran setup of reporting and all worked fine. it got installed just fine and reports appeared in the console just fine. Just need to see if someone else saw the Management Server option grayed out and why?

Hi Kitaab, I think this is a result of the SQL server already has an agent installed. hope this helps, Marthijn
