SCOM 2012 Beta - J2EE Monitoring
I looked around the admin console and didn't see an MP for this after the install. I also looked in the SCOM install directory without any luck. I assume this wasn't included or am I missing something? Expanding on that note, is this a feature complete beta?

Did you download and extract the separate package for J2EE from the download page? SCOM2012_JEE_Beta.zip http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26804 It contains the MP guides, MPs and getting started guides that you should check out. Hope this helps. What would prohibit me from using this in a SCOM 2007 R2 deployment? I noticed there are .mpb files which I believe may be a new extension used in 2012. However I just need the basic WebSphere MP monitoring functionality for now.

I thought you were asking about the beta version of OpsMgr 2012. This will not work for OpsMgr 2007 R2.Scott Moss MVP (Operations Manager) | President - System Center Virtual Users Group | Vice President - Atlanta Southeast Management Users Group (ATL SMUG) Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you!

SCOM module.. yes, will not work. But i still can call servlet from SCOM2007R2 from custom modules. I just tried module, does servlet support CompositeDate type output? E.g. Java.Lang/Memory/HeapMemoryUsage Can't find this possibility. ----added---- oh, just found thread spawned by my colleague with detailed problem description http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/operationsmanagergeneral/thread/90af302e-daf8-4eec-b7e4-ff0a4e388643
