SCOM 2012 - global Agent Proxy setting
Hi, Is it possible to configure a global proerty for the Agent Proxy settings in SCOM 2012? Here is an example on how it was done in SCOM 2007: http://www.bictt.com/blogs/bictt.php/2011/06/01/scom-trick-21-enable-agent

Hi, Check Kevin's guide: OpsMgr 2012: a quickstart deployment guide http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2012/04/26/deploying-opsmgr-2012-a-quick-start-guide.aspx --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Enable Agent Proxy I prefer to simply enable agent proxy for all agents. You can do this by running a script on a schedule, either via scheduled task, Orchestrator, or embed into a management pack. http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2010/11/09/how-to-set-agent-proxy-enabled-for-all-agents.aspx --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Thanks, so a script is the only option? No global setting like in SCOM 2007?

Hi scripter, correct, have not found a default setting for this in SCOM 2012 yet. 2007 command only works in 2007 and not in 2012 version. SO we are left with running scripts again and again. Of course there is a way to build it in somewhere in an MP perhaps. But normally you would schedule something that runs a command like: Get-SCOMAgent | where {$_.ProxyingEnabled.Value -eq $False} | Enable-SCOMAgentProxy As in: http://www.bictt.com/blogs/bictt.php/2012/08/24/scom-2012-enable-agent-proxy Good luck mate.
