SCOM 2012 - Resource Pool
How many Resource Pool can I have per Management Group?

Hi
There is no stated limit here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh205990.aspx#BKMK_MonitoredItem
"Custom" Resource Pools are used for:
- High Availability for Unix \ Linux agents
- High Availability for Network Devices
Out of the box Resource Pools are used for:
- Assigning Management Servers as notification servers
- AD Integration
- "All Management Servers" for the Health Service functions (e.g. group calc, health config, console access).

Resource Pools aren't used for Windows agents (which use the same functionality as SCOM 2007 for failover) or for SDK operations (which can leverage NLB for High Availability) so I'm not sure most enterprises will need to create huge numbers of resource
pools.
I can escalate if you wish to get a definitive answer.
Cheers
