SCOM 2012 - Reporting and management packs
DId you actually run the SCOM Reporting installation on the box where you have SSRS? One piece of that creates the datawarehouse and the other piece does a bit of work on permissions and such on the SSRS reportserver. After that you should see the reporting tab in your scom console. AFter that you will see either reports appearing after a number of minutes or you will see alerts in the scom console regarding report deployment process going wrong.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

I have experienced that after installing Reporting, I do not see any Reports in the Operations Console. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the th order of installing management Packs and Reporting. Do i need to install all MP's, thn Reporting? or doesn't it make a difference? dave

Hi, you just need to wait a bit for a report deployment process to run. Or check the Active Alerts view for a report deployment alerts.http://OpsMgr.ru/

Hi Alexey, Unfortunately I have been waiting days. no alerts either. One installation it works, the next time not.

Its time to check the management server Operations Manager eventlog for errors. Do you see any?http://OpsMgr.ru/

Again, no errors in Event log. nothing regarding the Reports missing. I try a new installation.

Hi David Do you actually see the Reporting tab? Or is that missing as well? If you can see the reporting tab, a couple of other checks: 1) Go to http://SRSservername/reportserver and confirm if any reports are here 2) Check the SQL Server error log for permissions problems 3) Double check SQL Reporting Services is running 4) Do a filter on the OperationsManager event log for event 31567 Cheers GrahamRegards Graham New System Center 2012 Blog! - http://www.systemcentersolutions.co.uk View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

Hi, In addition, please try the following: 1. Check if the reports are hidden: 1) If you can see the report in http://servername/reportserver and http://servername/reports, please go to its properties and see if the checkbox for Hide in list view is checked. 2) Uncheck the checkbox, applied and see if it will appear in the console. 2. Try the methods in the following posts: SCOM Reports are not showing up http://blogs.technet.com/b/csstwplatform/archive/2008/12/16/scom-reports-are-not-showing-up.aspx System Center Operations Manager Doesn't Show Any Reports http://blogs.technet.com/b/smsandmom/archive/2007/09/06/system-center-operations-manager-doesn-t-show-any-reports.aspx Hope this helps. Hi Bob, I ended up reinstalling my environment and Reporting works fine. All reports are there. Sometimes when one continually makes changes and loses track what one does, shit happens! Strangely enough, I never had any errors appearing in my OM Event log related to reporting. It works now. Thanks for your help. dave
