SCOM 2012 - Notification Subscription User Requirements
Hello, I have SCOM 2012 and am wondering how I get a user who fits in the role of Operator or Advanced Operator to be able to setup a subscription so they can recieve notifications of alerts they are interested in, without having the SCOM Administrator do the work for them. I have followed the Technet documents on a) Setting up a Notificaiton Action account and b)Setting up a notification subscriber and c) setting up a subscription. Everything works as long as I (the SCOM Admin) sets up the subscription for the Operators. When they view an alert, the Notificaiton Subscription is grayed out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions ZachZach

Hi Zach This shows you how to set this up: http://thoughtsonopsmgr.blogspot.co.uk/2010/04/scom-r2-notifications-operator-can-not.html Basically, once you create them as a subscriber they should be able to create their own subscriptions from the alert view so double check their subscriber information is correct.
