u have option to install reporting role in SQL mechine.where operaionsmanager database installed. \or seprate mechine. note first :installation proceed with default instance no problem.otherwise u should create new instance in SQL. 2nd: you must focus on user rights.(when u install reporting role running user must be sysadmin role in Operationmanager database and member of operation manager group.

Product Name: System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 Reporting Server. Product Version: 6.1.7221.0. Product Language: 1033. Installation success or error status: 1603.
