SCOM 2007 - Notifications Question
Good morning everyone! I have a question regarding notifications. I have created a SUBSCRIPTION that emails our DBA group with alerts from the SQL classes. It works very well. They noted that they liked all the alerts except alerts that come from the Alert Source: MsDtsServer100. Is there a way to exception out those with that Alert Source? Thanks in advance for your replies everyone! Kevin Hittle

Hi Kevin Sadly you can't do specific excludes - one option is to manipulate the severity \ priority combination to determine alerts that generate notifications. Cheers GrahamView OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

Hi Graham, It might be possible to disable the Rule againts MsDtsServer100, isn't it? I have the same question as Kevin with some slight difference, as our DBAs would like some MsDtsServer100 for specific instance to be part of the notification process and some for other instance not sending any alert...
