SCNotification and Citrix

Hi all -

We found that SCNotification runs on a per user basis, and is using up a lot of memory on our Citrix boxes. I found this article from 3.5 years ago, but assumed there was a better answer now: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2012/08/13/important-note-about-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-and-client-machine-restart-notifications.aspx

Anyone run into this issue? Easier way to fix it than applying a GPO to all Citrix servers?

Thanks

I've just checked my citrix servers, SCNotification.exe only runs when a user is logged into the console, not via published app or desktop.

I have set custom client settings for servers to hide software notifications for computer agent. Not anything else.
