Hello Bobby,

I suggest clearing the SCE cache first:

1.Close the System Center Essentials console.
2.Run the following command at a command prompt:

C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.Essentials.UI.Console.exe /clearcache

Or, you can go to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft.SystemCenter.Essentials.UI.Console and remove the cache file momcache.mdb.

If the issue persists, please check if any information on the following thread will help:

What are these "In progress installations" it's telling me about?:

I tried both of these options with no luck. Any other suggestions?

I also ran a report of updates and checked all in updates, opened an update that had a status of 40% "needed", once expanded it said 12 needed it. Clicked on the blue 12 and as always it only shows the SCE 2010 server as the one needing the update. No other computers. That is how my reports show data for updates, only the SCE server.

me too also facing this issue,

under computer update deployment status report, some of the security updates are showing Not Installed.

in Detailed Status: The update or package is applicable but not yet installed or downloaded on the client computer.

I tried to clear cache, but still its no luck.

I have a technet open on the issue and will try to remember to update this thread once I find a resolution.
