SCE 2010 Configuration - Group Policy
Hi, I need some assistance with creating GPO for SCE 2010. Here's the scenario, I have a working SCE 2007 installation with active SCE 2007 GPO's. I installed SCE 2010 and when trying to configure, it detects conflicting group policies (from SCE 2007) and provides me a change settings option. Question, if i click the change settings option tab and only change the FQDN name from SCE2007 to SCE2010, and use the same configuration from SCE 2007 GPO's - is this going to work? If not, how can i go about this. Thanks

Hello, Do you manage to upgrade SCE 2007 SP1 to SCE 2010? If so, please follow the guide below: How to Upgrade System Center Essentials 2010 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc339466.aspx SCE 2007 and SCE 2010 cannot coexist in a same domain. There's not a simple method to use the old GPOs. Hi Yog Li, I have resolved this issue but deleting all the Domain GPO's for SCE 2007 and recreated new ones with SCE 2010. This was the only way to overcome the GPO conflicts. Thanks for your reply.
