Hi Nicholas, thanks for your suggestion but unfortunately i already installed that hotfix without success. The problem remain the same. I think that the only valid resolution is to start with a fresh SCE 2010 installation. :-( Or do you have some other ideas?belluc.80

Hi, Have you ever checked the log file? Were there any related errors? Meanwhile, please double-check the guide and try again: How to Upgrade System Center Essentials 2010 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc339466.aspx Thanks. Nicholas Li TechNet Community Support

Hi, Regarding the Reporting feature installation failure, from the document, we can see If you are installing Essentials Reporting or Virtualization features during your upgrade from Essentials 2007 to Essentials 2010, these features might fail to install even though Essentials 2010 is installed. If they fail, Setup notifies you of the installation failure and provides a link to the log. These features might appear accessible in the console even though they do not work correctly. There is currently no workaround for this issue other than to remove Essentials 2010, reinstall Essentials 2007 SP1, and restore your database and certificate data from the backups that you created prior to upgrading.Nicholas Li TechNet Community Support

Hi Belluc.80, it looks like an upgrade it is possible, but you are hitting an issue that has only one workaround which is documented there. And the workaround basically means that you need to go to the last working state of SCE and try to run the upgrade again. Before going that route, can you share the complete log file of the failed upgrade from SCE 2007 to SCE 2010? Jose
