Hey hey hey where the ____ is this even documented? What if I broke my system? Who would be responsible? Why should I have to ask the compatibility question? I shouldn't. Who's to answer? This is pathetic.

HelloStill no answer. Still not possible to distribute the new Windows Update Agent, that hopefully solves the numerous different Windows update errors that occur on a lot of client systems. Is SCE 2007 beeing abandonned by Microsoft? Since four months, WSUS 3.0 SP2 RC is available to the public, and the Microsoft SCE Team is unable or unwilling to adopt SCE to this WSUS service pack?A lot of customers have invested a huge amount of time and money to implement SCE 2007 and tomake it work, and I think, we have a right to be informed what's going on with SCE 2007!Franz

Hi,I would also like some answers. I kind of patched it without reading up on the subject (which makes me feel kind of stupid). It works fine for distributing patches and the reports in SCE 2007 SP1 works better than before, but 1 out of my ~30 custom application packages fail on the clients with the infamous 0x80070570. The server is aWin 2003 R2 SP2 and the clients are Vista SP2.My guess is that the database somehow got corrupted during the upgrade or the selfsigning stuff has been changed - either way it sucks!/Christian

Hello,One thing you could try is to create an application package out of DXSDK_Mar09.exe, its a 511Mb chunk. When I try to create this package it fails 100% of the time right before the progressbar is about to hit 100%.BeforeI accidently upgraded to WSUS 3.0 SP2 I already had the packageready and deployed. But any new deployment using the old package will fail.I hope you find this information somewhat usefull.Regards/Christian

Hope to get SP2 supported, soon :)

I hope this gets fixed soon as WSUS SP2 has been pushed out to WSUS Updates and a lot of people will install and simply assume that SCE will be compatible with it. There are no Microsoft releases that SCE will not be compatible with WSUS SP2. Except for this post on social.technet

But wait a minute, are there any hotfixes that I am not aware of? I don't think they patched SCE2007 through Windows Update latley, have they?It worksgood for distributing WSUS patches and runningreports, but at least one custom application package broke for me. But, yes the installation was fine -no errors.../Christian
