I am experiencing an issue installing SCE it fails when registering the management server.I did read about SCE2007 SP1, so I tried installing that which apparently dealt with common installation problems - however when I tried to run it but it could not find SCE - obviously as I am having installation issues. HI,SQL express edition cannot be installed with SCE if you try to install SCE on a 64-bit version Windows OS. please send %temp%\SCEsetup#.log and %temp%\SCEreporting#.log to SCEDATA@microsoft.com <mailto:SCEDATA@microsoft.com>. Hi all,I'm having the same issue, this is the situation: Domain FQDN name: productie.local Netbios name: productie SCE server: PROD-MGMT01 SQL server: PROD-SQL01 Both x64 Windows 2008. Service account is svc_mgmt01_report Local Admin account on the servers is svc_mgmt01_SCElocadm The Essentials Server has Reporting Services installed and configured (I can reach the http://localhost/reports) However, the setup fails when registering management server.Please let me know what to do!Jeroen Reijling
