SCE (in EBS 2008) mangement pack could not import
Hi, I need to do like this: http://blogs.technet.com/b/essentialbusinessserver/archive/2009/10/30/ebs-sce-windows-server-2008-r2-and-windows-7.aspx Until import the management pack all works fine. But the import prompt (by any management pack) that the version I like to install is depended of the version itself. The import pack is marked with a red cross. No import possible. What's wrong? Thanx for help. Oliver Richter

Hello Oliver, Did you see a message as below: The Windows 7 Client Operating Systems Management Pack will fail to import because it depends on the following Management Packs: Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library version 6.0.6729.0 You should import Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library.mp before importing all Windows client MPs. And import Microsoft.Windows.Server.Library.mp before importing all Windows Server MPs. Both of them are in the same folders with the other MPs which you have download. Hope it helps, Yog Li -- Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi Yog Li yes I tried to install the "Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library version 6.0.6729.0" first of all (file name is: "Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library.DEU.mp". But also the same error! Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library.DEU The Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library.DEU Management Pack will fail to import because it depends on the following Management Packs: Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library version 6.0.6729.0 Is this a language independed problem? Must I install first a "Microsoft.Windows.Client.Library.mp" (english)? Thanx Oliver Richter
