All, I am in process of expanding SCCM 2012 Primary site server with a CAS at top of it. AS part of the design requirement I have to uninstall SCEP from primary and reinstall/configure it post CAS install.

Please confirm on the steps those needs to be performed before uninstalling SCEP from primary and uninstalling it.

It should be as easy as uninstalling and re-installing it as the SCEP role is only used to accept the license terms. Why have you decided to introduce a CAS? Are you exceeding 150.000 clients?

also keep in mind that you should move the Software Update Point and the Reporting Service Point to the Central Site.

But like Torsten say unless you are going to have 150,000+ computers, adding a CAS is a bad idea.
