SCEP Updates

I have an issue that I am trying to figure out. Looking for some pointers. Here is my issue.

I have a group of DEV machines and PROD machines. The DEV machines can get definition updates but they have to be tested. This test could take a day or two. Once approved, the same definition updates can be applied to PROD machines. Is there a way to automate this by using several ADRs?

Thanks

Two separate ADRs, applied automatically. As an example, DEV get the updates on day 1, and PROD gets them Day 1 + x time later, unless you manually stop it. You can use the same package for both ADRs. So lets say DEV ADR is set to evaluate every second Wednesday of the month, apply within 4 hours. PROD gets it thirds Wednesday of the month unless you stop it.

I think the problem I am going to have with this is making sure that the PROD machines get the same definition update that was tested on the DEV. I have done some testing and it isn't working as expected. I can get a SUG to work but I don't think that is a viable solution.
