SCC Installation.
HI! I just install windows 2003 Ent as DC, my question is. 1, Is it posiable to SCCM install on Domain Controller, 2. If i install SCCM on Other 2003 Ent server which service I need to install on DC, because I alread did but I can't install client from push button. need urgent reply.MGKHAN

Hi, 1. Yes you can install SCCM in the domain controller but is NOT recommended. 2. You don't have to do anything on the DC for Client push, have you configured a Client Push acocunt or have you granted the SCCM servers computer account local admin on all client computers? check the following: 1. Client Push Acocunt - either configure an account with local admin permissions on the clients you wish to push the SCCM client to. 2. For automatic push you must configure AD System Discovery 3. Windows firewall blocking the client push on the client Computers? 1. yes its possible but not receommended, 2. did you configure a client push network account ? what type of permissions does that account have My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady
