Actually SCCM is supported only with SQL 2005 & SQL 2008 and as already Kent said there are no official information, have you tried installing sccm with SQL 2008 R2 ? Bechir Gharbi. MCSA, MCSE M+S, MCITP Server/Enterprise Administrator, MCT, MCTS Configuration Manager/Forefront (Time Zone : GMT+1)

Even if it would be supported already? What would be the benefit using SQL R2 for ConfigMgr?

Even if it would be supported already? What would be the benefit using SQL R2 for ConfigMgr? SQL 2008 R2 has whatever benefits it has, but my main benefit would be to deploy the current version of products whenever possible. Mike Crowley Check out My Blog!
