SCCM roles Split in Two Forests - support Quetion
I have two different forests called and A and B. And in Forest A we have SCCM 2007 Server installed with all the Roles. I we would like to install some additional MP role in Forest B. Is this supported? Note:- I am not installing Primary / Secondary Site in Forest B. All I am doing is Installing the additional management Point Role. I have two way trust between these two forests.

It is not supported unless you are doing IBCM http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb694003.aspx.http://www.enhansoft.com/

Also, a single site can only have a single MP so even if this weren't a different forest, what you are doing in not valid without a secondary site. What are you trying to accomplish? ConfigMgr is perfectly capable of managing the systems in the second forest without any additional site roles in that forest as ConfigMgr doesn't care about domain membership of clients.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

I find it best to place a primary site in each forest for ease of administration. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|
